Sugar Factory: Meatpacking District, New York

No matter where you’re from there is bound to be a Sugar Factory near you. All the sweet goodness you could ever image with a fermented twist. (Virgin options available) Take your girls night out to the SF for a club scene dinner and drinks.

Cha Cha’s Restaurant: Little Italy, New York

When I came to NYC this summer I knew I needed gelato from Little Italy. I told the nice young lady to give me the most popular. I was surprised with cannoli flavored gelato. The best part about Cha Cha’s that not many other gelato spots have is that they have chunks of an actual smashed cannoli inside!

Dumbo: Brooklyn, New York

Dumbo is short for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. This place is great for a picnic, a first date and for sure a photo op!

The Ainsworth: Midtown, New York

So a friend told me about the Mac n’ Cheese burger at the Ainsworth and I knew it was somewhere I needed to check off my NYC bucket list. And LET ME TELL YOU it did not disappoint. Not one was the patty perfectly cooked, the bun was expertly toasted and then topped with the creamest of mac n’ cheese’s, underneath all that goodness is a hidden layer of fried mac n’ cheese to make your eyes roll back in satisfaction.

Central Park: New York, New York

Ahhhh summer time! For some this is a time for beaches and pools but for me as a “New Yorker” it’s a time for days spent in Central Park. One of my new tasks at Avenue Magazine is running their Instagram. When they assigned me my first travel destination of the many I will have around New York this summer I was ecstatic!! There was no better way to end my work week(even though I walked a total of 10.63 miles and got lost a few times.) Can’t wait to see where they send me next.

National Academy Museum: New York, New York

During my time here in New York I have met some amazing people. I recently met a photographer/artist who was hosting a gala at National Academy Museum. It was amazing looking at the different art and meeting these student artists and hearing their stories

Key West, Fl

I recently spent my spring break in Key West, Florida with 10 of my closest friends. If you’re looking for a spring break trip somewhat as wild as PCB but a little less ratchet (LOL) Key West is your place! Fun, packed beaches (I recommend Smathers Beach), more than 10 bars on Duval Street and DANTES POOL BAR!! Also, something that people may not know, Fogartys is a bar on Duval but they have the BEST burgers in Key West highlyyyyyy recommend

Daytona beach is such a beautiful beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida! The beach is 23 miles long and the cool thing about it is that you can drive your car onto the beach. The boardwalk is incredible…. It has shops, restaurants, a movie theater and across the street is a water park! Daytona Beach is an amazing place to go with your friends or also a relaxing vacation with your family.

Gasparilla, Tampa Fl

Gasparilla is a huge pirate themed parade celebrating some amazing Florida history! Everyone dresses up in bandanas and boots and eye patches to watch gigantic private floats and performers through beads at the spectators. Definitely a must take trip!!

Harry Potter World; Universal Studios & Islands of Adventures, Orlando, Florida

Harry Potter world is literally like stepping foot straight into Hogwarts. It is so realistic and amazing! The butter beer is so creamy and delicious (I prefer it frozen) and the rides are so much fun. They have all different types of stores and a train station that brings you from park to park. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is definitely a must take trip!!

The Royal Sands Resort; Cancun, Mexico

Every summer my best friend Savannah and I go to Cancun for 2 weeks! We stay at the Royal Sands Resort and it is soooo beautiful! Everyday at the pool they play music and throughout the day they play bingo, have sand and in the water volleyball, and just the water in general is bright blue and beautiful. One Sunday’s they have a big party where they have a fashion show, they hire people to perform right on the patio of the pool, they have dance contests and other fun and exciting games throughout the morning. We usually do one excursion per week and because we are friends with all the workers they take us on big party buses at night to the funnest night clubs. We also go to such delicious dinner spots with a live mariachi band and they make guacamole right in front of you at your table! If you’re planning a trip to Mexico and don’t know where to stay Royal Sands is a magnificent place!
